A twelve-week course borrowing the name of a two-year degree. Sometimes genuinely useful. Never the thing its name implies.
No regulator entitles a mini MBA, because it is not a degree. No university awards one as a qualification. The name is marketing, and it is borrowed from an instrument that took two years and a statute to establish.
That does not make it worthless. A twelve-week survey of the core business functions is genuinely useful to an engineer who has just been handed a P&L. At ₹5,000 to ₹50,000, that can be a good trade.
Take it for the learning. Never for the line on your CV.
When it appears under Education on a CV in a way that reads as a master’s degree. That is not a grey area — it is a misrepresentation, and it will cost you more credibility at the moment it is noticed than the course ever earned you.
List it under courses and training, named exactly as it was issued. That is honest and it still shows the initiative.
Any two of those failing together should stop you.
Below a certain price the differences are real. Above it, you are buying teaching and a cohort — not recognition. Almost nobody says which one they are selling you.
